We recently got a reorder of socks we had previously created for the LGBTQ community. And as Pride month* is slowly approaching, we decided to share one of our successful case studies.
In the middle of 2022, an advertising agency in the UK representing Amazon contacted us with a special request. We had to create 20 000 pairs of socks that incorporated the Rainbow flag, also known as the Peace flag, which has become a symbol of LGBTQ culture. They were extremely happy with the design, the quality of the socks and the sustainable impact they had whilst celebrating equality, inclusion and diversity. It was a great corporate gift for employee recognition and building trust within the company. Previously we have also had requests for 5 000 pairs of socks for a pride in Spain, and 2 500 pairs – for France.
“I have taken great pride these past 2 years producing socks for LGBTQ prides. I personally love the colour combinations and the knit quality is superb because of the horizontal flat knitting without any pixelation in the design. But better yet are the great relations we have fused with the LGBTQ community. They are fun to work with”, said Rob Armour, CEO and Founder of Kingly.
We believe in the slogan “Love is Love” and that everyone deserves to be cherished and respected. The company is now looking for strong voices to become brand ambassadors of their retail line which will be launched shortly. We will be happy to welcome someone from the LGBTQ community.

We are also happy to announce that Kingly has obtained OEKO TEX certificates for Euro cotton socks, GOTS organic cotton socks and upcycled socks. Don’t hesitate to contact us with your inquiries via the contact form on our website.

* Pride Month, typically in June, is dedicated to the celebration of the LGBTQ community – lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer individuals. Pride Month began after the Stonewall riots, a series of gay liberation protests in 1969, and has since spread outside of the United States.
