At Kingly, we believe that business is not just about creating high-quality products—it’s about making a meaningful difference in the world. We are proud to share that we recently donated about 1,400 pairs of socks, valued at several thousand euros, to the Bulgarian Red Cross. This contribution is part of our ongoing commitment to supporting those in need and making a positive impact on vulnerable communities.
A Warm Gesture for Those in Need
The socks we donated were crafted from premium materials, including Merino wool, Euro Eco cotton, or Regenerated Polyester, offering a perfect balance of warmth, comfort, and durability. To meet the diverse needs of those receiving them, we provided a range of sizes, including women’s sizes (36-41), men’s sizes (41-46), and one-size-fits-most (39-44). These socks are intended for people facing challenging circumstances, such as refugees, mothers with children, young people, the elderly, and the homeless.
Why Socks Matter
Socks are often overlooked in clothing donations, yet they play a vital role in maintaining good health, preventing infections, and providing basic comfort. Especially when it comes to people who are displaced or homeless. Clean, warm socks are a simple but essential item that can make a world of difference for people without stable housing or resources. With winter approaching, proper clothing becomes even more essential, and we hope these socks will bring warmth and comfort to those who need it most.
The Power of Giving
Our partnership with the Bulgarian Red Cross enables us to extend our reach to those most in need. This donation is about more than just providing socks—it’s about offering dignity, care, and support to individuals facing hardship. We believe that even a small contribution, like a pair of socks, can provide a sense of relief and comfort during difficult times. This donation is part of Kingly’s larger mission to combine sustainability and social responsibility with high-quality products.
In the past several years, Kingly supported the Bulgarian Red Cross by donating towels and hygiene products, including soaps, mouthwash, body milk, and sanitizer gels with a total value of 13,500 euros. We extend our heartfelt thanks to the Bulgarian Red Cross for their incredible work and to all those who support Kingly in our mission to make a difference—one step at a time.
Small Steps with a Big Impact
Over the past three months, Kingly has extended support to the Center for Humane Policy’s Pink House, donating 150 pairs of socks and 28 apparel items (including boxer shorts and T-shirts). The Pink House is the last organization in Bulgaria dedicated to helping people with addictions survive. Their assistance includes providing essential food supplies, hygiene materials, and medication free of charge. In addition, the center offers psychological support to individuals who are still undecided about stopping the use of psychotropic substances and helps others continue their HIV therapy, often contracted through shared needles.
Kingly also donated an additional 150 pairs of socks to the Good for Everyone Foundation. Its mission is to provide both material and spiritual support to individuals facing financial difficulties. It supports the social, health, and educational programs of institutions that aid children and young people without parental care, those in foster families, elderly individuals, and people with disabilities. Furthermore, the foundation is committed to fostering education by offering scholarships and other training support, while also contributing to the strengthening of moral values in society.
As we move forward, Kingly remains dedicated to finding new ways to support these communities, guided by our values of sustainability and compassion. Together, we can take meaningful steps toward building a more caring and compassionate world.
