A Year of Lasting Impact and Innovation
At Kingly, sustainability is at the heart of everything we do. As we unveil our 2024 Sustainability Report, we celebrate a year of remarkable progress, industry recognition, and impactful partnerships that reinforce our commitment to ethical production and environmental responsibility.
This year, we achieved the EcoVadis Platinum Medal, placing us among the top 1% of sustainable businesses worldwide. Moreover, we became the first sock-knitting company to receive this prestigious honor. We also uphold our OEKO-TEX® STeP Level 3 certification, ensuring our production meets the highest standards for chemical management, waste reduction, and fair labor practices.
Our dedication to innovation earned us the BizX 2024 “Green Company of the Year” Award, further solidifying our leadership in sustainable textiles. Beyond certifications, we took meaningful steps to drive industry-wide change. We joined the BPMA StepForward Pledge, introduced a Supplier Code of Conduct to ensure ethical sourcing, and expanded our transparency efforts by launching 98 new Cradle-To-Gate sustainability reports.
We also collaborated with industry leaders like Polygiene, Hohenstein Textile Testing Institute, and BCome to host sustainability webinars, fostering dialogue on responsible textile solutions. Taking action beyond manufacturing, we partnered with organizations to clean oceans and protect marine life, reinforcing our mission to combat plastic pollution. In collaboration with Greenspark, we launched a tree-planting initiative, actively contributing to global reforestation efforts and carbon footprint reduction.
We donated 1,700+ socks and apparel products to international charities, like the Bulgarian Red Cross. We also customized 2,400 pairs of socks, distributed exclusively to Barnardo’s stores to support those tackling life’s toughest challenges, including poverty, abuse, exploitation, and mental health issues.
As part of our evolution, Kingly Socks has transitioned into Kingly Knitwear, reflecting our broader commitment to high-quality, sustainable knitted garments.
