Kingly is proud to announce its support for the annual Christmas Charity Bazaar organized by the Ministry of Education and Science in Bulgaria. The event brought together talented students from Princess Maria Louisa Vocational High School of Clothing, who showcased their creativity by upcycling textile materials and turning them into beautifully handcrafted items.
As part of its commitment to sustainability and education, Kingly provided the students with textile waste, thread cones, and defective socks. These materials were upcycled into unique crafts, such as Christmas ornaments, which the students presented at the charity bazaar. The event not only demonstrated the importance of sustainable practices but also highlighted the exceptional skills and innovation fostered within vocational education.

This year, the Christmas Charity Bazaar featured the participation of 18 vocational high schools from Bulgaria. By organizing the event, the Ministry of Education and Science aims to promote vocational education and training as essential pathways for building real-world professional skills. Prof. Galin Tsokov, Minister of Education, emphasized the importance of such programs, stating:
“Most of these vocational high schools also offer a dual organization of training, which allows young people to build professional skills in a real work environment. I hope that the success and experience from today’s event will inspire more educational institutions to focus on nurturing practical skills and talents among students.”
The Christmas initiative celebrates the dedication of both students and teachers, while underscoring the value of vocational education as a foundation for future success.
