We, at Kingly, are happy to announce that Control Union Certifications has finished the review of our Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) certification requirements. All conditions to award our company with a certificate have been fulfilled. There is no other GOTS producer with an office in the UK that has met the criteria in the product category as the certification is incredibly difficult to obtain. Furthermore, this certification makes us one of only 52 GOTS-certified sock knitters worldwide.
Our GOTS certifier has released the data set of our company in the GOTS public database that contains the GOTS certified entities. Did you know that our GOTS organic cotton socks have the highest rank in BCome’s Cradle to Grave Platform with an “Honours” score? Also, we have been awarded the Promotional Gift Award 2022 for this product.
For a textile product to be able to call itself organic cotton, it must not have used any chemical pesticides, genetically modified seeds, or artificial fertilizers. Its production is supposed to promote and enhance biodiversity and biological cycles.
Our socks are composed of 80% organic GOTS cotton, 17% eco-friendly regenerated polyamide, and 3% elastane. Spun with care and comfort, it is kind to your skin and so much gentler on the planet. Moreover, if not recycled it is biodegradable, so less created waste goes to landfill.
Minimum quantity order from 150 pairs per size and design. Free recycled socks tag and compostable bag are included for each pair. As an option, there is a seed sock tag available. When this sock tag is placed on top of the soil and watered, it will germinate and begin sprouting seedlings.
