Kingly 2025: Purpose in Every Pair

Kingly’s 2025 story celebrates purpose in every pair, from Arctic adventures and zero waste innovation to supporting children, inclusion, and clean water projects worldwide.

This year, we’ve proven that socks can tell powerful stories – of sustainability, inclusion, and creativity. From the Arctic Circle to East Africa, from our zero-waste factory to ocean cleanups, Kingly kept walking the talk on responsible innovation.

Here’s how we made an impact in 2025

Supporting Vulnerable Children with Barnardo’s

We are proud to have partnered with Barnardo’s to create 2,400 custom-designed socks for sale, supporting vulnerable children, young people and families. Each pair was crafted with care, sold via Barnardo’s stores, and the proceeds directly help transform lives. This initiative blends high-quality craftsmanship with social purpose – exactly what Kingly is all about.

Kingly x Welcome on Board: Riding for Strength, Healing & Connection

Kingly is proud to partner with Welcome on Board, a unique snowboarding project empowering young cancer survivors (AYA’s) to rediscover confidence, joy, and community through sport and nature.

As part of this partnership, Kingly will produce 250 pairs of custom, limited-edition snowboard socks – designed not just for performance, but with purpose. Every pair supports Welcome on Board’s mission to help these young adults continue their journey of recovery and resilience on and off the slopes.

Beyond the Arctic Circle – Adventure with Purpose

Our Beyond the Arctic Circle project wasn’t just an expedition – it was a celebration of creativity and sustainability at the edge of the world. Together with illustrator Boryana Ivanova, we explored how upcycled, thermal socks could double as hand warmers, camera protection, and thermos sleeves – proving that sustainable design thrives even in extreme conditions.

Earth Day, Every Day

On Earth Day, we reaffirmed what drives us all year long – reducing waste, saving energy, and producing responsibly. With our OEKO-TEX® STeP Level 3 certified zero-production-waste facility, every pair of socks is a small victory for the planet. Sustainability isn’t a campaign for us – it’s our factory floor.

Paddington in Peru Screening – Bringing Comfort and Care

In collaboration with the British Embassy and British Airways, Kingly crafted 260 custom tube socks for disadvantaged children attending the Paddington in Peru screening in Sofia. This heartwarming event marked the launch of British Foreign Secretary David Lammy’s global campaign on children’s care, aiming to positively impact young lives. The custom socks, specially designed for children up to 12 years old, were heartfelt tokens of care, bringing comfort and a personal touch to each child in attendance.

Clean Water for Communities

Partnering with the well:fair Foundation, we helped provide access to clean water in East Africa. This initiative reminded us that sustainability is about more than materials – it’s about people. When every sock can help fund life-changing projects, every step really does matter.

Inclusive Manufacturing – Empowering People

This year, we proudly collaborated with people with disabilities who helped fold 10,000 FSC-certified boxes for our trade show appearances. It was a simple yet powerful example of what inclusion looks like in action – creating meaningful work while keeping our packaging sustainable.

Turning the Tide with Big Blue Ocean Cleanup

Together with Big Blue Ocean Cleanup, we created 250 pairs of special tie-dye socks, inspired by the ocean’s colours and movement. Each pair was made in our circular, zero-waste facility – a stylish reminder that small steps can help protect big waters.

A Step Ahead

Every initiative this year had one thing in common: purpose. Whether it was giving warmth, creating opportunities, or protecting our planet, we stayed true to what Kingly stands for – sustainable innovation with a human touch.

Here’s to walking further, giving back, and creating better – one pair at a time.
